    Great Fonix demo!

Sure enough mine says Fonix right on the logo. I am an unobservant idiot.

    Great Fonix demo!

Can someone explain why some people write "Fonix"? Or is this a different amp from my Phoenix?

The hang at the Satch/Vai show

Musically, meh. Animals as Leaders were incredible. The Satch Vai show is silly fun, but musical junk food must of the time...Silly medleys, corny behavior, and one single dynamic the entire night.

The hang at the Satch/Vai show

Just trying to do my part to keep some activity going here. Here's a link to the pic. Not trying to get people onto IG.

I agree. One of the greatest.

Podcast w/Linkin Park guitarist (talks about our lessons)

This was neat for me since they talk about our lessons together (hence wanting to share, if that's partly what this group is supposed to be...I'm down to be corrected haha). But there's also lots of insight into the biz, as well as some nerding out on different players and gear.

    Dumble ODR style feedback

See but I know better than to believe that, as someone who has heard some of your great original music.

Your collection is awesome, Beckstriad. I think that kinda goes without saying at this point.

    Obligatory new member clip

Thank you, fellas. @Tinkercity that's awesome! Yeah we've never talked about that. I've stacked it (gain off, usually) before different OD pedals for prob close to two decades now, aside from a 5-year RAT era.

    Obligatory new member clip

I just read the "start here" thread, so here's an old clip that's floated around the forums for a while. The amp was a Badger 18 and I'm pretty sure this was during my first SD9 into a Rockett Blue Note phase, partly because that was easily my longest phase.

    Everyone introduce yourselves!

Thank you fellas! And yeah, @beckstriad I didn't know that either. We should chat about MS.

    Everyone introduce yourselves!

My name is Mark. I grew up around Memphis, including a bit in north Mississippi. For my undergrad, I did jazz at the University of North Texas, then went off into academia (theology and philosophy of religion) for grad school and a bit of publishing. After that I settled into a career doing...
