    Oh yes…I do like that! I’d say it is sweeter and cleaner than the Eminence that came with the amp. Bright, but not overly so, and still has thump.

    In da house! Man, it dials in much differently than the 2x12. Much brighter and honky at first than expected, but a little patience has yielded excellent results. Definitely have to tweak with your ears, not your eyes. I only had a minute with it this morning. Really looking forward to a deeper...

    Mine is on the way. Can’t wait! I have been using a 2x12 w/sugarcone V1 with my JKL and love it. This new cab has been “specially formulated” to match the JKL. It should be awesome.

    I have ordered a 1x15 cab to match my JKL. Tim is optimizing dimensions today. Should be awesome, and is reasonably priced. Can’t wait!

    Yes, the JKL head is large. Actually a friend stopped by and upon entering my music room asked me when I got a Friedman. I explained that is was not, in fact, a Friedman. Lol

    Control layout looks the same as the OG. Is this just a stouter version of that amp? I bought the OG when Tim wasn’t making any more GEMs.

    That knob and switch on the back are key. I hate to say I had really not fiddled with them before. Shame on me! Turning it down helped immensely. This was indeed the issue. Still not sure about the switch. Further exploration is in order. Thanks!

    Interesting. What about the control on th back? Mine is way too much gain at 5.5. I do have the rear knob dimed, so that could be my issue.
