Thanks to Beckstriad for hosting these.

This is an amp that was just completed that will be unveiled very soon (privately not publicly). Many of you know what it is as you are on the list. This is the only one that exists as of today.
I feel it’s safe to share here as everyone that’s been invited to this forum is a solid person. Just to say I said it. This amp and its info is only to be discussed on this forum. This clip was recorded completely dry at less than home stereo listening volumes. Let me know what you think. Thank you!

Ahh yes. Should’ve posted that. Believe it or not. 1x15 Full back. This was just a quick bang out pair of clips to test the amp
My usual Charvel with P90s and like I always do amp clips. An iPhone.

Edit deleted first clip not one I meant to post.

Just for clarity deleted first clip I posted. I got them mixed up with others I had on my phone. Clip posted reflects amp being discussed in this thread.

I can’t seem to make youtube work for that clip tonight, that makes it quite a suspense to me :) I’ll try again tomorrow.

Ok I was able to listen to it this morning, I like what I hear, a lot.
Sounds to still have lots of clarity, “air”, “openess” and bitting dynamics despite the angry gainy tone; I’d expect it to also “clean-up” well using guitar controls and right hand dynamics, does it?
Also seems to have a quite unique tone character.
That’s the kind of things I love and usually look for in amps.
Really curious to know more about it.

Actually it cleans up exceptionally well without volume roll. Just attack. Can go from clean to angry and everything in between just on how you attack the strings.
Which has been the part of the perfection of these amps in general.

As promised. What you’re hearing is this clip is a one of a kind Jim Kelley Marshall Super trem Jim was kind enough to do for me after about a year of requesting. Let me point out. Jim does not and will not do another. Not even for me. However, Jim was kind enough to officially license the “line amp modification for the Marshall Super trem” to Tim at Audio Eyra for the work to be performed. And it sounds exceptional. Tim and Jim went back and fourth on the specs, notes, voltages scope readings. Etc. You name it.

There are only 15 of these to be done. And it’s only being done in private. You on this board are the only ones privy to this info. I will also point out. That little more than half are already sold. (You know who you are) :)

Also, as a point. Most of you know that Jim’s badged line amp sells for about $25k at auction. This Marshall which is also a line amp just using a Marshall platform. Is only about 1/3 of that price with the donor. Or with Tim building a JTM45 super trem from scratch. If anyone is interested. Shoot me a message and I’ll provide any and all detail. You can only get on the list through me. Beckstriad. I hope you’re ok with me posting this here.

Such a killer amp. Jim's amps are my favorites, and a Marshall Line would be just another in a long lineage of incredible amplifiers. If Jim isn't building it, Tim is an amazing alternative. Very exciting project.
