On the way… the Stark Funk Motor 2025

I wasn’t sure Adam would ever build more of these, but he has built a few amps this year and there were three of these built. The Funk Motor is, as I understand it, a similar preamp setup to the Fire with channels you can jumper, but with EL34s.

Basically like the best Marshall Dumble sound I could imagine from the brief clips I’ve heard. I feel extremely fortunate to have gotten one. I will post up some clips when I get it this week.

It won’t let me post the pictures because they’re too large. I’ll post clips later this week!

Man, that sound when you dig in is exactly how I like an amp to sound when it’s breaking up. Super expressive. Can’t wait to experience that first hand.

That sounds fantastic. In all my years of playing I can’t recall playing thru a 4x10. Are they mid heavy? Do they have good bottom end? Enjoy it.

thanks, man! I haven't had a 4x10 in forever. the GA10-SC59s in this cab don't tend to be very bass heavy in their 12" counterparts, and these are no exception. definitely not a massive bass presence, but they are incredibly warm and big sounding. They have a fantastic breakup to them with a little volume as well.
