Presenting the JKL 45/100. 001 of 10.

Following suit the JKL 45/100 takes the historical 60s approach. Just as the original. (Pending correct pilot light on its way). For those that don’t know. The 45/100 is 4 KT66s as opposed to the 2 as the first JKL. The magic of the 45/100 is being able to run those tubes at the 540-560 volts of the original amp. No one has done that with these. Until now. Add to that Jims remarkable circuit. Pure magical tone. I posted it in the clips section because they will follow soon.

I can’t wait to play it. This is the amp I have always wanted the JKL amp to be as I shared with you a few years ago. 4 KT66s.
Not that the JKL45 isn’t stellar. This is just the amp I had always envisioned.

Also, to answer a question. There will only be 10. Last year the original 15 sold out quickly. Jim asked Tim if he would do more. I didn’t want to as the idea was 15 only for 2025. I can tell you for sure. There will be no more than 10 and the first 2 are already sold.
