Bluetron Blueverb

Got this amp back from Tim at Audio Eyra for some tech work. It came to me not working quite correctly. My understanding is this is a prototype Blueverb. I am aware of the ignominious reputation of Bluetron due to some shady business dealings of the founder. I am not associated with that company at all. Just like cool amps.

This is a cool 6V6 powered beast with a tube rectifier. Reverb is really nice. These clips were recorded straight in on an iPhone. Reverb is from the amp. Cab is a Bob Burt 2x12 with Scumback sc75s.

made a little clip with this one today. mostly just to turn it on and remember how it sounded. 1x12 semi-open back with SRO. Straight in.

It’s always a shame when these guys implode. It’s the common denominator of a builder that’s on to something that gets momentum. Starts taking deposits mixed with little business experience and poor ethics. Everyone faces challenges in a new business. What separates those challenges is the ethics and business strategy of making sure the customer comes first.

I could make a multi pages long list as I’m sure most here could. Bluetron is just another name on the list. Cool amp though for sure.
