Hey everyone!
After spending far too much time on other gear forums, I've noticed the increasing amount of noise—sales pitches, influencers pushing products, and countless opinions from people who don't really have a deep understanding of what they're talking about (or any experience at all). It’s frustrating, and it often takes away from what should be a space dedicated to genuine learning and discussion.
That’s why I’ve decided to create Rare Amp Forum—a community where true and accurate information can be shared freely, without the distractions. This site is by invitation only, as the goal is to bring together a group of like-minded individuals who are serious about amplifiers, gear, and the craft of playing. Whether you’re a seasoned professional, builder, or a passionate enthusiast, this is where we can have real, constructive conversations and share genuine expertise.
This forum is designed to be as much of an educational resource as it is a place for discussion. I want everyone to not only learn from each other but to feel inspired and empowered to dive deeper into their knowledge of amps, tone, and the world of rare guitar gear.
One more thing: Posting clips of you playing is highly encouraged (and required for new members). This will help us all stay on the same playing field and foster a more connected, honest environment. We’re here to discuss real-world application, so showing your gear in action is a great way to contribute and grow alongside the community.
I’m excited to have you all here and look forward to the great discussions and learning ahead!
